World Bank Fund for 58th ISI World Statistics Congress, Dublin, Ireland

The ISI and the World Bank Group are pleased to announce their efforts to provide developing country participants with an opportunity to obtain funding to attend the next ISI World Statistics Congress in Dublin, Ireland, from 21st-26th of August 2011. This was successfully organised for the ISI Lisboa WSC in 2007 and the ISI Durban WSC in 2009. The World Bank Fund (WBF) is for those developing country residents who will actively participate in the scientific programme of the ISI Dublin WSC.
The scientific programme includes contributed papers, special topic papers or poster sessions. Though the initial choice is for the participant, the Local Organising Committee may place the paper in another category when taking its final decisions on the scientific programme. Please download and fill in the form completely. Instructions and relevant information can be found on the form itself. Once decisions on applicants who are successful in obtaining funding are finalised, all applicants will be contacted about the results of their applications. Please note that this process can take approximately two months.
The deadline is 1st April 2011.
